OSF Little Company of Mary Hospital, a nonprofit Catholic community hospital in Evergreen Park, IL, is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist of 298 Medicare‑certified beds to lead the anesthesia department. This is a full‑time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Medical management of patients rendered unconscious and / or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
• Pre‑anesthesia assessment and obtaining / verifying patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring patient's physiological condition
• Perform clinical intervention as needed
