Summary: The LPN will, in collaboration with a registered nurse, utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to ensure quality nursing care for the residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Delegates and supervises clinical care delivered by certified nursing assistants.
Provides routine care for assigned residents.
Administers medications, performs treatments and documents in accordance with Affinity Healthcare policies and local, state and federal rules and regulations.
Participates in care planning meetings.
Coordinate nursing care of resident when scheduled for therapy or procedures.
Accurately and promptly implement physician orders.
