Scope :

The Night Auditor is responsible for accurately balancing and auditing all hotel income and expenses for a 24-hour operating period, ensuring financial accuracy and smooth overnight operations.

Primary Responsibilities :

Accurately audits and reconciles room revenue, food and beverage charges, and telephone revenue; assists in the preparation of daily financial reports.

Reviews and verifies room and tax charges, cashier reports, guest folios, and internal house accounts for accuracy and compliance.

Prepares and transmits essential reports including the customer tracking report, market segmentation analysis, and food and beverage revenue summaries to support daily revenue accounting.

Coordinates with other hotel departments to resolve discrepancies, clarify financial data, and maintain accurate records.

Performs all Guest Service Representative duties as needed, including making reservations, answering phone calls, and relaying guest messages.

Ensures the proper handling and security of department keys and confidential information.

Responds promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and follow-through.

Maintains a professional appearance and upholds the hotel’s standards for dress, grooming, and conduct.

Complies with all company policies, procedures, and may serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts.
