Mathematicians - Research Study Participant

Sepal is conducting a research study to understand work excellence among mathematicians (in government and education settings) to establish professional benchmarks. Selected participants will share their professional background, design field-specific screening questions, and document substantial work projects as case studies.

Timeline : Now through December 29th

Commitment : 40100 total hours

Begins with a paid 24 day work trial

Fully remote and flexible schedule

Sample of reported job titles : Computational Mathematician, Computational Scientist, Cryptographer, Cryptographic Vulnerability Analyst, Image Scientist, Knowledge Engineer, Mathematician, Research Computing Specialist, Research Scientist, Researcher

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :

• 5+ years full-time experience as a mathematician
• Native-level English language fluency
• U.S. residency
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet
• Available for at least 10 hours per week during the 2-3 week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule)
• Technology proficiency : Comfortable with messaging, video calling, and uploading files
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions and complete online tasks independently
