Senior Applications Engineer

Job Summary : We are seeking a talented Application Developer to join our team supporting public sector ERP implementations and business automation projects in Pasadena, CA. The ideal candidate is an innovative problem-solver with strong SQL, .NET, ERP, and API integration experience, who is able to work remotely and travel onsite as needed. Key Responsibilities : ERP System Support : Customize, configure, and enhance ERP systems (Tyler Munis or similar) for financial management, payroll, procurement, and HR modules. SQL Development : Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database automation using MS SQL Server. Reporting : Develop and customize financial / business reports with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) or similar tools. API / Integration : Integrate ERP systems with third-party applications and services using RESTful APIs, XML, and data import / export tools. Business Process Automation : Design and implement automated workflows to streamline organizational operations from procurement to payment. Collaboration : Work closely with business users, analysts, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver enhancements and technical support. Troubleshooting : Provide ongoing technical support, diagnose issues, and resolve system bottlenecks and errors. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, process guides, and user support materials. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of hands-on experience in application development, ERP system support, or similar role
