YOUR DAY

As a Pest Control Technician, you will start your day by preparing your company vehicle and ensuring your tools and equipment are in top condition. You'll head out to inspect customer properties, identifying pest activity, infestations, and potential risks. Throughout the day, you will apply treatments using chemical, baiting, and exclusion methods, always adhering to label and regulatory requirements. You will educate customers about their treatment plans and preventive measures, promoting our services and collecting payments as needed. Communication with office staff will be part of your routine to confirm appointments and report service completion. You will participate in monthly safety and training programs, maintain accurate records, and handle chemicals and equipment safely with full compliance to company policies and PPE requirements. Passing out flyers, asking for referrals, and requesting online reviews from nearby homes will round out your day, along with ensuring your certifications and licensing requirements are always up to date.

YOUR SCHEDULE

As a full-time Pest Control Technician, you will work a consistent schedule serving customers throughout the Mission Hills, CA area. Specific hosts or shift details may vary based on service needs, but you can expect a stable, full-time commitment as part of our dedicated service team.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to maintain continuing education and licensing requirements
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of pest identification and control methods
  • Math aptitude for measuring, mixing, and applying treatments
  • GPS/map reading and navigation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Organization and time management abilities
  • Safety awareness and compliance
  • Pest control or related experience is preferred
