Description :

SSI is seeking Application Developers to work on a Navy program in Mechanicsburg, PA. Contract award spring 2026.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Designing and developing database driven IT applications in one or more software languages such at C++, Java / J2EE, Visual Basic (VB), .net, HTML / XML, Powerbuilder, and / or Delphi.
Work independently with application code, backend processing, and user interface development.
Perform standardized testing at the unit, integration and systemic levels to ensure accuracy to requirements
Support related activities in managing the scope and milestones of the project and / or support of data warehousing, business analytics or ad hoc requests
Ensure the project AGILE life cycle is being followed and best practices are being employed when writing code and managing tasks

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer or information science-related field

Minimum of five years of experience in a related information technology (IT) job.

Must possess at least a Secret security clearance

Minimum IAT II level certification is required

Must be able to work onsite
