Application Developer  Location :

• Harrisburg-Carlisle, PA, or Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV, United States Position :  Application Developer (Mid-Level) We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Application Developer to design and develop database-driven IT applications supporting federal government contracts.
• This full-time, hybrid position offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical IT solutions for the Department of Defense, leveraging expertise in software development to deliver secure, high-quality systems.

• Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain database-driven IT applications using programming languages such as C++, Java / J2EE, Visual Basic, .NET, HTML / XML, PowerBuilder, or Delphi.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement secure coding practices to ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
• Perform system testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Integrate applications with existing databases and systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Document code, technical designs, and system configurations for audits and future maintenance.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and status reporting.
• Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT roles, with expertise in :

Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CWF) certification required :
