Master Stylist

Overview

We are seeking a Master Stylist at Ulta Beauty. The Master Stylist engages with guests, consults on hair care needs, and recommends products and services. Delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest's total look and supports the Experience Manager (SM) and Assistant Services Manager (ASM) through focus on performance, guest service, and processes. A passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge are required.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed an average weekly hair services sales goal of $1,250 and productivity goals by delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Demonstrate products to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Support the execution of in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives that deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Stay informed on new and existing industry trends, products, and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

Pay range : $20.00 per hour with opportunity for eligible associates to earn services pay under the Services Compensation Plan. Pay is based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may also earn overtime and tips paid by service guests. Full-time positions offer paid time off and benefits; part-time positions offer available benefits.
