Lincoln and Granite Bay Urgent Cares are premier "5 Star" urgent cares located in Lincoln, Granite Bay and soon West Roseville, CA.
Dr. Ellis, a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with over 20 years of experience, opened Lincoln Urgent Care with the goal of providing a near ER experience at an affordable price.
Dr. Ellis and his wife Clara are dedicated to serving the their communities. Granite Bay Urgent Care was added in 2022 and a Roseville location will be opening in the fall of 2024.
In Lincoln alone our volume is over 36,000 patients a year and still growing with Granite Bay not far behind. We are closed major holiday and offer flexible scheduling which provides for work / life balance.
Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Physician at Lincoln Urgent Care and / or Granite Bay Urgent Care. We are a very high volume and high acuity Urgent Care so expectations are that applicants have experience in Emergency Medicine or extensive experience in a high acuity Urgent Care.
Applicants should be able to think quickly on their feet, and able to use critical judgement and resources to keep patients out of the ER if safe.
We have labs including d-Dimer, Troponin, and chemistries so knowledge of proper use of those test is necessary as well as ability to interpret EKG's and X-rays.
Additionally applicants should be efficient in seeing patients and making dispositions. Our patients expect excellence and that is what we wish to continue to deliver.
Part of the role is also supervising and teaching mid-levels as well. We foster a collaborative workplace where providers are encouraged to share knowledge and experience to provide better care.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Valid medical license in the state of California
- Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care
- Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Experience with electronic medical records systems. We currently use Athena
- Bilingual skills (Spanish / English) are a plus
