Interventional Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University Medical Center,  a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of  Interventional GI Advanced Practice Provider (APP).  The provider will be the fourth member of the Interventional GI APP team at Rush’s downtown campus.

• APRN candidates must hold acute-care certification.
• Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Interventional Gastroenterology, Surgery, and Critical Care are preferred.
• Relevant RN experience may be considered.

The  Advanced Practice Provider (APP)  is a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and / or routine medical / surgical care of Rush patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the Rush University Medical Center medical staff bylaws. The APP will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. The individual who holds this position will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, guidelines of Rush, including the Rush Medical Group Customer Service standards. Successful candidates will also meet all other state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provider all aspects of care including acute care, well care and chronic care in the urgent care setting for patients of all ages.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, specialty; relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range : $118,669 - $167,000
