Position : Busser P.M & A.M.
Supervisor : Dining Room Manager
Department : Food and Beverage FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Position Summary To provide all dining room guests with an entertaining and enjoyable dining experience, through quality service in the most efficient manner, at all times.
Essential Functions
- Performs any necessary pre-shift sidework.
- Reviews the menu and becomes thoroughly familiar with all items and means of preparation being offered that day, including the ingredients, preparation, sauces, and garnishes as well as the wine list, what wines compliment which food items, and why.
- Checks with manager for assigned station. Ensures station is properly set up and cleaned.
- Greets and ensures all guests are provided with water and appropriate pre dinner items.
- Completes assigned side work and resets tables for the next meal function.
- Tend to guest needs, Water, Coffee refills. Clearing and setting tables along with helping servers. Serve bread.
- Must do Room Service orders.
- Must have 1 year experience, must work fast and effeciently understanding the urgency required in a restaurant, must be avaialble to work breakfast,lunch and dinner shifts or any other required shifts.
Must be available to work weekends,and holidays. Must be reliable and always on time. Friendly, positive and motivated. Needs to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
Position Requirements
Minimum Knowledge Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions.
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience : High School / 1 year job related experience
Food Handler's Certification & Lead Certification
Communications Daily Verbal Written
