Training and Career Support Specialist - NIH

We are seeking an individual to work as a Training and Career Support Specialist at the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, MD.

The contractor shall : (1) Lead and develop internship, fellowship, management training, project management training, executive coaching, and Career Support Coordinators training for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H)(2) Organize and support all fellowship program meetings, faculty meetings related to the Fellowship and Scholars programs.

3) Work with staff to provide support for oversight and review of the fellowship program including program statistics monitoring.

4) Write, edit and prepare promotional materials as well as orientation materials for distribution; ensure that each incoming trainee has met all requirements to begin clinical and educational activities within the fellowship program.

5) Work with staff to facilitate, coordinate and attend regularly occurring training events.(6) Develop educational materials to assist students throughout their training programs;

assemble materials for workshops and retreats(6) Create and maintain a working database for various recruitment activities.

7) Serve as liaison between administrative staff to ensure awareness of fellow hires and departures.(8) Coordinate with the NIH program office during recruiting and selection of program applicants.

9) Identify relevant career fairs at universities, professional conferences, and other venues, serve as primary point of contact between the Institute and representative at school or other venue, and coordinate delivery of promotional materials and traveling exhibit to these events.

10) Prepare reports, correspondence, and other written materials in response to requests from NIH leadership, other federal agencies, and Congress.

REQUIREMENTS.
