About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vaccines FMD Lead, VP to oversee and lead the US Field Medical Director team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the group's vision and strategic direction to ensure the highest level of medical impact. This role involves close alignment with US Brand Medical Affairs and related business partner priorities, as well as cross-functional partnerships with global medical affairs, global health and value, vaccine research, and product development. The Lead will also be a key member of the US Field Medical Leadership Team, contributing to the development of a vision and strategic direction for cross-functional engagement with customers.

Candidates for this role must have an M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D. with a minimum of 9 years' of relevant healthcare or pharmaceutical experience. Therapeutic area experience in vaccines and field-based medical leadership experience are essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in people management, the ability to influence and collaborate, and a strong focus on generating a positive medical customer experience. The Lead will be responsible for ensuring the team's activities are in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations, and for guiding work prioritization and resource allocation. The position demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a large workload, and a willingness to travel as needed.
