We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support our enterprise use of service virtualization! Our team provides self-service Service Virtualization creation and consumption across the Capital One Enterprise.

In doing so, our team works with cutting edge cloud native architecture that utilizes ECS, Load Balancing, and Auto Scaling to meet the demand of our customers.

You will have the opportunity to interact with all areas within Capital One, while helping software delivery teams solve complex testing problems to deliver reliable solutions faster.

What You''ll Do : Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologiesShare your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering communityCollaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowermentUtilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, GroovyRuby and Go, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, automation tooling including Jenkins, monitoring services such as NewRelic, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services Assisting in building out the management API layer for the platformCollaborating with external teams to define requirements and plan workEnsuring vulnerabilities are well managed through process, tooling, and automation improvementsContributing improvements to our existing cloud based architectureDesigning and implementing new automation pipelines and processes Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity.

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor''s degree At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)Preferred Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following : JavaScript (VueJS and / or NodeJS), SQL, Python, or Go2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP 2+ years of experience with containerization tools, preferably Kubernetes or Docker1+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
