Eligibility Supervisor
Tidal Basin seeks a competent Eligibility Supervisor to join the team in the State of Alaska to assist in one or more programs that provide temporary housing for those impacted from Typhoon Halong. This position represents an opportunity to join an expert team to facilitate change and help make a lasting difference. The objective of the Eligibility Supervisor is to assist the Eligibility Lead in overseeing direct reports for the Eligibility Unit, which will include the Eligibility Specialist(s). The Eligibility teams are responsible for reviewing program applications and being applicants' main point of contact. The Eligibility Supervisor is responsible for managing the unit by assisting the Eligibility Lead in maintaining the unit's operations, meeting goals and objectives as assigned, complying with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements, and adhering to all contractual or prescribed stakeholder expectations or requirements. The Eligibility Supervisor advises on issues identified by the Eligibility Specialists and will assist Eligibility Specialists in performing the following duties : review of intake forms and documentation to determine client's eligibility for program benefits, recommendations for award, and finalizing agreements for execution. The Eligibility Supervisor will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks and deficiencies, coordinating with the Eligibility Staff, reporting to the Eligibility Lead, and identifying and implementing recommendations to reach resolutions. This is a production-based program, so clearing assigned caseloads through queues is an essential job function and success in the position will be evaluated accordingly.
