Overview
Ready for a change from bedside Nursing? Our home infusion nurses care for our specialty infusion patients 1 : 1 in the patient's home.
Pay for this role is door to door. The hourly pay starts when the Nurse leaves their home of record and ends when they return home at the end of their shift. Mileage is paid on top of the hourly anytime they are driving to visits.

Medications you will infuse include :
- Immunoglobulin Therapy
- IV Antibiotics
- Enteral and Total Parenteral Nutrition

Responsibilities
The Infusion Nurse provides professional nursing care for the safety and well-being of Ameritas patients.
Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in both Infusion nursing services, pharmacy services, and state laws and regulationsAdheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses AssociationCollaborates with pharmacy staff, physician, and patient to develop and monitor goals of patients therapiesAssesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of CareManages vascular access devices, to include insertion of peripheral infusion devices or peripherally inserted catheters (only if certified)Educates patients and caregiversEvaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients needsCoordinates nursing care with home health and other community agencies as indicatedQualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferredValid nursing license in state(s) of practiceMinimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered NursePrevious infusion and home health care experience preferredExtensive experience in IV therapy preferredCurrent CPR certificationFlexible schedule with the availability to work a variety of shift modelsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamEffective verbal and written communication skillsValid drivers license and auto insuranceMust meet company standards for driving record as well as driver age requirementAbout Our Line Of Business
