Summary of Position Functions

This role involves operating and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems such as hot water heating systems, compressed air systems, cooling towers, emergency generators, electrical distribution equipment, and fire suppression systems.

Essential Position Functions

• Operate and maintain chiller and boiler plant systems, including boilers over 75 PSI and chillers up to 2000 tons.
• Monitor and control building heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain emergency generators and electrical distribution systems.
• Apply knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and heat transfer theory in daily plant operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hot water heating systems and associated equipment.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair compressed air systems.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on cooling towers.
• Inspect and maintain wet and dry fire suppression systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Lead and collaborate with team members while demonstrating strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with staff, vendors, and management.
• Work independently and make informed decisions without direct supervision.
