Description
We are seeking a driven and experienced Marketing Manager to lead quoting and submission processes for new and renewal commercial insurance business. This role requires a blend of industry knowledge, marketing acumen, and carrier portal proficiency to ensure our clients receive timely, competitive insurance solutions. You’ll work closely with producers and account managers to support client needs while deepening carrier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Quote new and renewal business (small, mid-size, and large accounts) using carrier rating portals
Submit to standard carriers and wholesalers for difficult-to-place risks
Attend monthly carrier meetings and maintain strong relationships
Track all submissions and communications with carriers
Coordinate with producers / account managers to gather and provide underwriting data
Maintain and manage carrier portal logins and system access
Monitor carrier appetites and explore new market opportunities as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
5+ years of experience in a marketing role within the insurance industry
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
Strong understanding of insurance carrier portals and quoting systems
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new rating systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Prior experience submitting to wholesalers
Familiarity with carrier appetites and coverage comparisons
