Overview

Attorney- Estate Planning and Probate at Berlin Patten Ebling, PLLC. Base pay range : $160,000.00 / yr - $200,000.00 / yr.

Job Duties

Assist with creating and implementing wealth preservation strategies, business succession planning, and family-office planning.
Have 2-5 years of sophisticated income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning experience for high-net-worth individuals.
Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts (e.g., intentionally defective grantor trusts).
Experience with probate and trust and estate administration is preferred.
Prior law firm practice experience is required.
Demonstrate superior writing capabilities and thorough legal research prowess.

Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and active good standing with the Florida bar.

2-5 years of sophisticated income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning experience.

Experience drafting estate planning documents.

Experience with probate and trust and estate administration.

Prior law firm private practice experience.

Degree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax strongly preferred.

Excellent academic and employment credentials; superior writing and legal research skills.
