GLF Construction's Electrical Division is seeking a self-motivated, driven Electrical PM / Superintendent to successfully oversee the day-to-day operations of our electrical construction projects, working with GLF's E&I Manager, managing the on-site construction team
This candidate must ensure compliance with safety regulations, adherence to quality standards, assist in procurement, timely availability of equipment and materials on site along with budget oversite.
Responsible for the procurement of job permits as needed, and coordinating inspection authorities as necessary to obtain project approvals.
The PM / Electrical Superintendent must be able to complete projects on time, within budget, and without compromising on quality. Top candidates will be strong leaders, pro-active, and perform well under pressure.
Responsibilities"
- Work with / as Project Manager to develop project schedules and updates
- Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
- Coordinate and oversee all work on site
- Participate in regular progress meetings with project stakeholders
- Interface daily with crew foremen to ascertain their needs, problems and job progress
- Place orders for materials, and responsible for equipment and materials on site
- Follow the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness
- Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs
- Interface with inspection authorities regarding approvals
Education / Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredA minimum of 5 years industrial or heavy construction / electrical supervisory experienceKnowledge / Skill Requirements
Must have experience with Commercial / Industrial or Public Works Projects ConstructionExtensive knowledge of electrical construction within Industrial and Civil private or public works projectPower and Controls Experience for industrial installations i.e pump stations, generators, MCC’s, ATS and main power feed installations a plusMust be eligible to work in the USBackground Screening will take placeCertificates, Licenses, Registrations
