Position Details : Start Date : January July Coverage Needed : Locum Physician to provide Inpatient consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart. Schedule Details : Dates of coverage : 1 week (7 days Mon-Sun) per month, 8a-5p. Submission Requirements : Must meet ALL submission requirements in order to submit! Board certified in both Hematology and Oncology - REQUIRED Active NJ license - REQUIRED ACLS - Required - REQUIRED Must be able to work for both Atlantic City and Galloway locations - REQUIRED Work Details : Practice Setting : Hospital Inpatient consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart Coverage needed due to growth in outpatient volume and part-time inpatient providers being sick. Patient population : Adult and Geriatric Practice distribution : 49% hematology, 51% oncology 5.6 physicians in the practice Radiation Oncologist available at EHT Cancer Center for case discussions 8 APPs providing coverage - Monday to Friday, an inpatient NP will assist the MD with notes, orders, and staff communication Average hospital patient load : 8 per day (5 consults, 3 follow-ups) Clinical areas : Oncology and Hematology in an inpatient setting Hospital trauma level : Atlantic City - Level 1 EMR system : Cerner Required procedures : Inpatient consultative services If this role does not fit your current plans, I would still love to connect and discuss your career aspirations.
