Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology / diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement. The board-certified physicians in the Oncology department evaluate and treat all types of cancer and blood disorders. At Straub's newly renovated Outpatient Treatment Center, patients receive blood transfusions, chemotherapy, nutritional support, antibiotics and other IV therapies. Straub's Certified Oncology Nurses are trained to provide education and emotional support to patients and their families. The Straub Cancer Center team includes board certified physicians, nurses, registered dietitians, outpatient and inpatient staff, and a quality of life professional. In addition to treatment and therapy, the Center offers family education and support group sessions to help patients and their families cope with illness.

You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Aide. In this role you would serve as a nursing assistant who performs routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. • Minimum Qualifications :
• Nurse Aide or Medical Assistant certificate showing successful completion of courses for a Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant training program OR completion of a fundamentals course from an accredited school of Nursing OR Military Corpsman certificate OR EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or MICT (Mobile Intensive Care Technician) certificate OR An RN / MD license or RN / MD graduate certificate from a college in a foreign country. Current Heart Saver-AED Card. And Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
