Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed within the hotel and resort environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the property, including guest areas, service corridors, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, promptly reporting incidents according to site protocols. Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address security-related concerns and support daily operations. Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed written reports following Allied Universal guidelines. Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods as directed by site management. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations, including evacuation procedures and medical emergencies, by following established protocols. Possession of a valid security guard card or license is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
