We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, develop supplier relationships, and optimize purchasing processes to enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise will play a critical role in driving cost savings, ensuring supplier compliance, and supporting innovation across key business functions.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee sourcing activities such as RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to build effective supplier partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Conduct landed cost analyses and create models to evaluate sourcing strategies.
- Qualify, onboard, and manage new suppliers in collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor industry trends, commodity markets, and broader economic factors to guide procurement decisions.
- Present well-researched sourcing recommendations and business cases to senior leadership.
- Evaluate supplier performance through regular reviews to enhance innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with demand planning teams to align procurement strategies with forecasts.
- Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements to ensure compliance and protect business interests.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.Proven expertise in corporate procurement processes, including purchase orders and sourcing strategies.Strong skills in contract negotiations, RFQ processes, and supplier management.In-depth understanding of procurement functions and buying processes in manufacturing environments.Ability to analyze data to inform purchasing decisions and inventory strategies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of procurement tools and process improvement methodologies.Familiarity with supply chain risk mitigation and alternate sourcing strategies.
