Japan Payroll Lead

A company is looking for a Japan Payroll Lead to manage payroll operations for employees in Japan.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee payroll specialists to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across different prefectures and entities in Japan

Develop and coach the Japan payroll team while supervising payroll tasks and ensuring compliance with regulations

Implement and test new payroll systems for automation and efficiency improvements

Required Qualifications :

University degree and / or diploma in Human Resources, Payroll, Business, or a related discipline

Minimum 8 years of payroll experience in a foreign MNC with knowledge of local payroll regulations in Japan

Fluency in both English and Japanese

Experience in leading and developing a team in Japan

Strong payroll systems experience, preferably with SAP
