Job Details

Provides care to patient and family progressing towards individualized goals.

Performs nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient care.

Promotes quality outcomes.

Collaborates or seeks additional resources for complex, new / unusual, or high-risk clinical situations.

Serves as patient and family advocate ensuring excellent and satisfying care.

Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect safe and therapeutic care for assigned patients.

Care is individualized and age specific using the nursing process.

Job Requirements

Must have CA RN license.

Must have CPR certification.

Must have ACLS certification.

Must have NIH certification.

Strong experience in MICU, SICU, RVAD / LVAD, CRRT.

Must have travel experience.

Schedule Information

12N shift (Float Pool 12N)

Unit Specific Information

Float Pool ICU role requiring strong MICU, SICU, RVAD / LVAD, CRRT experience

Additional Details

Assesses patient and family needs and documents assessment data.

Develops and implements individualized, age / culturally appropriate plans of care.

Evaluates patient and family progress and educational needs.

Serves as patient advocate and encourages participation in decision-making.

Communicates patient and family care needs per department guidelines.

Delegates care within scope of practice.

Coordinates with healthcare team to impact patient / family well-being and expedite progress.
