Professor of Interactive Design

SCAD Savannah seeks a full-time professor of interactive experience design to bring their expertise in cutting-edge digital design—whether in web, AI-driven systems, or extended reality (XR)—to inspire the next generation of creative technology leaders.

As a member of the interactive experience design faculty, you will join a dynamic, cross-disciplinary team dedicated to equipping students with both the visual design sensibility and the technical fluency required to thrive in fast-evolving creative industries.

The university seeks an accomplished candidate with professional experience in designing and deploying interactive systems. Ideal candidates will bring specialized expertise in one or more areas, such as :

• Web : modern front-end frameworks, responsive and inclusive UX / UI design, and data-driven interaction
• AI : integrating generative AI, conversational interfaces, or intelligent agents into user experiences
• XR : designing immersive AR / VR / MR experiences, spatial interfaces, and real-time 3D prototyping

A strong portfolio of shipped products, installations, or deployed experiences is essential, along with the ability to guide students through the full creative and technical process—from concept ideation and rapid prototyping to testing, iteration, and deployment.
