American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Macon, Georgia.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with Georgia licensure and BLS certification for a day shift rehab position treating diverse neurological and orthopedic patients.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a rehabilitation department within a large acute care hospital
  • Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm
  • Patient caseload averages 6-9 patients per day per therapist
  • Typical patient diagnoses include orthopedic, debility, spinal cord, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, and cardiac conditions
  • No weekend, on-call, or major holiday requirements
  • No floating to other units required
  • Utilizes Epic EMR system
  • Join a large, supportive rehab department working alongside over 40 teammates with lead therapists on site
  • Comprehensive orientation includes 3-5 days of departmental training depending on experience
  • Scrub color requirement is light grey
  • Free parking available
  • First-time travelers will be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in Georgia required, if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience working independently with diverse rehab diagnoses
  • Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
