Hr Generalist
We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to support various human resources functions within a university setting. This role is ideal for someone who excels in administrative tasks, enjoys working with data, and is committed to fostering seamless employee experiences. This is a long-term contract position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities :
- Process personnel-related documents, such as hiring forms, promotion approvals, and termination paperwork.
- Ensure employee records and status updates are accurately maintained within organizational databases.
- Draft detailed and accurate offer letters, onboarding materials, and pre-employment packets for new hires.
- Manage onboarding and termination workflows within internal HR systems.
- Input and update employee data in HRIS platforms while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Provide front desk support and assist employees and visitors with HR inquiries.
- Collaborate on HR-related projects, offering administrative support as needed.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Support benefit-related functions, assisting employees with enrollment and queries.
Requirements :
At least 1 year of experience in human resources or related administrative roles.Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR administration practices.Proficiency in onboarding procedures and HRIS platforms.Familiarity with benefit functions and related processes.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.Strong communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in using office software and HR tools.
