Senior Tax Accountant
The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing complex federal, state, and local tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role provides tax planning and advisory support, assists with audits, and contributes to process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the tax function. The Senior Tax Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams and may mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- Conduct research on tax issues, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations.
- Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings, credits, and incentives.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
- Ensure timely filing and payment of all tax obligations.
- Assist in developing and improving tax processes and internal controls.
- Mentor and guide junior tax staff, providing technical expertise.
Qualifications :
