Job Summary : Operate a Company vehicle in a safe, accurate, on-time delivery of materials to customers on job-sites. Operates vehicle in compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations and in a courteous manner throughout the community.
Job Duties :
- Know, understand, and abide by all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
- Maintain vehicle in compliance with Company and government regulations.
- Safely securing and care of material on truck in compliance with Company procedures.
- Maintain positive customer relations on jobsites.
- Follow job-site safety rules
- Assist with lumberyard operations as necessary and all other work related jobs as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain the Company vehicle's emergency equip, logs, inspections, and cleanliness.
- All other job-related activities requested by Supervisor.
Requirements :
- H.S. diploma preferred.
- Valid Colorado
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
- Basic math skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift and move weights in excess of 50 lbs. repeatedly, work outdoors in harsh weather.
- Ability to maneuver self and / or materials on and off of truck and operate large vehicle with manual transmission.
- Ability to secure loads using manual tie-down system.
Pay Range : $18 - $19 Hour
