Responsibilities

The AVP Communications and Public Relations will lead the Credit Union's internal and external communication efforts. This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that align with our brand, support business goals, and engage various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization's goals and values.
• Manage internal communications to ensure consistent and timely messaging across departments.
• Oversee the communications and public relations team who have responsibility for the creation of content for press releases, newsletters, speeches, presentations, and other collateral.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with media, partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Act as a company spokesperson when needed and coordinate media interviews or public speaking opportunities for senior leadership.
• Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing, HR, and executive leadership to align messaging across channels.
• Ensure all communications reflect the company's tone, values, and brand identity.
• Manage crisis communications and support issues management.

This is a hybrid opportunity that will require you to be in office at our Headquarters (in Enola, PA) 2-3 days per week. This position may require in-person training.

Compensation Overview

We are excited to offer a competitive salary for this position. This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.

The minimum salary for this position is :

$97,000+ / yr
