Description
Our Garden Distribution division is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Lebanon, OR. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to perform required functions efficiently while meeting tight schedules and deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform work in accordance with established safety policies and procedures; comply with all work rules, standards, instructions, and requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace and follow required safety procedures; promptly notify the Warehouse Manager of any safety or mechanical issues
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, including use of a pallet-flipping apparatus. y
- Load and unload trucks, and stock the warehouse as needed.
- Rotate stock according to FIFO (First In, First Out) to ensure freshness and quality.
- Utilize SAP to print required loading documents and perform related tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with coworkers and demonstrate flexibility in performing a variety of job duties.
- Carry out all responsibilities with good judgment, common sense, and adherence to company safety, quality, and ethics policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of warehouse forklift experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related documents and make decisions to resolve in-process issues.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.Willingness to learn and utilize SAP software; prior SAP experience is a plus.Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerWORKING CONDITIONS
Manual labor required in position, including lifting materials up to 50 lbs.Daily use of industrial equipment such as forklifts and other material handling tools.POSITION INFORMATION
