Overview

Production Lead Days position with rotating A / B schedule, 12-hour shifts, located in Grand Forks, ND. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

• Schedule : Rotating A / B Schedule : (3) days one week and (4) days the next, 12 hour shift, 7 : 00am to 7 : 30pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Education And / Or Experience

One year experience working on a production line in a manufacturing facility, preferably a pasta plant. Ability to supervise, direct and organize multiple employees at any given time. Prior experience in supervision and public speaking and / or training. High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for direction and coordination of the packaging employees on designated shift. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assigning and directing work and covering for breaks. Ability to coordinate the assignments of employees on a 12-hour shift.

Language Skills

Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English. Ability to respond to common inquiries. Ability to speak in front of a group of people.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions.

Physical Demands

Required to lift and / or carry up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, use hands to handle or feel, push / pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms 2 / 3's of the time.

Work Environment

The work environment is loud. Ability to perform all above tasks in temperatures up to 90 degrees F or greater for extended periods, with humidity around 35%.

Safety Responsibilities

Be able to work and perform tasks in a confined space as needed. Wear appropriate hearing protection for the whole shift. Be able to perform lockout / tag out procedures on equipment once trained. Work safely in and around equipment at all times.
