Medical Assistant

Family Practice Averill Park is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are Monday - Thursday 8 : 15am - 5 : 30pm and Friday 8 : 15am - 1 : 00pm.

Responsibilities :

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office / provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation : $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
