Description :
As part of a passionate and accomplished team, you will be responsible for commercial project delivery, including commissioning and acting as the owner’s representative. The position requires strong field project construction administration and early-stage project development experience. Effective collaboration with Terra CO2 and our partners is crucial as we work to deliver optimal solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers. In a fast-paced and changing environment, you will contribute to innovative solutions while demonstrating personal leadership, strong technical judgment and competence, and a passion for the highest technical standards. This position will directly impact the environment's future by reducing millions of tons of CO2 emissions in concrete production. It will require your dedicated commitment and attention towards safe and reliable technology to sustainably and competitively produce eco-friendly concrete at scale.

Location : Golden, Colorado
Responsibilities :
- Function as project executive responsible for successful commercial project delivery.
- Oversee general contractor(s) performance as primary project owner’s representative assuring successful project delivery, within budget and on schedule. Capable of leading early-stage development of future projects that may include activities such as industrial plant permitting, project entitlement, land agreements, utility services, plant design modifications, and project budgeting, among other preconstruction stage activities.
- For each new project guide general contractor negotiations in partnership with senior management for each project.
- Identifying and expediting delivery of long lead equipment. Be a force in expediting timely delivery of long lead equipment to support on time project completion.
- Implement and ensure best practice in managing project documents and communications
- Identify gaps between the design development and procurement to ensure technical design specifications reflect optimal conditions for procurement.
- Assess and enforce engineering process health and accepted specification compliance with standards and best practices for Terra technology.
- Manage project team members, including Terra field engineers and project administrative staff, and coordinate with design engineers and other teams within Terra.
- Supervise construction vendors to ensure quality and adherence to contracts, building, and safety codes.
- Oversee utility infrastructure build-outs, transportation, logistics, and deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation (e.g., bills of lading, proof of delivery).
- Monitor compliance with relevant AIA and other forms of contract documents and relevant codes.
Qualifications :
B.S. in engineering and / or construction management.7+ years of proven project management experience encompassing delivery of government and industrial projects.Competent in utilizing industry-leading project management software packages to control schedule, budget, communications., and other project administration activitiesCompetent in all forms of change order management.Experience with documented authority levels to review and approve project progress paymentsFluent in the use of national industry standard agreements such as AIA agreementsMust be able to hit the ground running and quickly align with our fast-paced environment.Experience evaluating technical specifications for industrial projects and other related documentation to support project delivery, value engineering, and procurement.Proven ability to work with regulatory agencies and design engineers during project delivery. Industrial project experience a plusCompetent in one or more of standard scheduling software packages.Experience with Navisworks softwareEnthusiasm to take a “hands-on” approach within our dynamic, rapidly growing company.Ability to manage multiple project tasks concurrently.Experience executing effective risk management practices.Highly organized team player with excellent technical written and strong verbal communication skills. Must communicate proactively.Demonstrated track record of resourcefulness, technical judgment, and a strong bias for action from previous assignments.Fierce passion to drive successful completion of projects.Timeline-focused with a sense of urgency around project delivery is a must.Experience creating safety-critical environments.Ability to travel in support of multiple projects in different states.Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.Berkner Group has been retained to execute this search.
