Job description

Summary :

  • This role is responsible for identifying, pulling, and preparing sheet metal materials for laser cutting operations.
  • The position ensures that correct materials are selected, cut to size, and delivered to the appropriate staging areas, while maintaining material records and organizing stock.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify material specifications and thickness from work orders or schedules.
  • Pull appropriate sheet metal from stock and shear to required dimensions.
  • Stage prepared material for laser operation areas.
  • Unload and organize incoming raw material from vendors.
  • Record material usage and maintain accurate inventory logs.
  • Organize and maintain material storage areas for clarity and accessibility.

    • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Ability to read material specs and distinguish between metal types and gauges.
  • Basic experience with shearing equipment and material handling tools.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
