JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Cybersecurity will manage and lead our organization's Cybersecurity efforts and partner with IT operations and 3rd parties to ensure efficient and effective cybersecurity operations. The Directory of Cybersecurity will manage and lead the team and 3rd parties responsible for ensuring the security of the organization's systems and information assets. In addition, this leader will establish and implement the overall strategies and procedures for the information security function. This includes implementing information security frameworks in accordance with organizational standards such as NIST, ISO27001 and others. The Director of Cybersecurity must stay current on the latest information security standards, threats and best practices while ensuring compliance with data protection guidelines and applicable laws. The Director of Cybersecurity will also be responsible for developing and managing a Cybersecurity Awareness and Training program for the organization.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Director of Cybersecurity will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and presenting metrics and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and transparency across the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead, mentor, develop and manage the Cybersecurity team promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture that grows as the company scales.
- Support ERP migration projects, ensuring data and security compliance from legacy systems to modern platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Field Service, F&O etc.).
- Establish operational and organizational change management plans to guide employees and departments through transitions smoothly and effectively.
- Partner with IT operations, architecture, and engineering to ensure the company’s Azure and Microsoft cloud environments, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for document management and collaboration are secure.
- Monitor security operations in partnership with 3rd parties and IT Operations of all environments as well as contributing to the maintaining and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal downtime in the event of a system failure or security breach.
- Lead and manage cybersecurity projects using strong project management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Create and maintain comprehensive metrics and dashboards to track incidents, response times, training, awareness, and security compliance to share with CIO and executive leadership team.
- Do research and partner across IT to define, plan, and implement a strategic roadmap that incorporates AI tools, 3rd parties, and technology to stay current on our defense landscape.
- In partnership with IT and business, provide oversight / guidance to 50+ branch locations to ensure security and compliance of IT systems as well as the field technician technology experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity practices in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Cloud environments (including SharePoint, Teams, and voice integration) and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Business Central.Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001).Strong communication skills for clearly conveying technical initiatives to non-technical stakeholders and aligning IT projects with business objectives.Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop a growing IT team.Proven ability to align technology initiatives with long-term business goals, driving strategic implementation of IT capabilities to support organizational objectives.Ability to lead operational and organizational change-management efforts engaging stakeholders, ensuring adoption of cybersecurity training / awareness, and integrating new systems.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree, in Information Technology preferred.8 years’ experience in an Information Technology / cybersecurity related role, with 2 or years’ experience managing others.Preferred certifications in cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, and cloud security.EEO STATEMENT
