Summary
JOB SUMMARY : The Nurse Educator will provide support to the Peri-Anesthesia Service Line departments at Sinai Hospital, including PreOp, PACU, GIDC and Ambulatory Surgery and more. Under limited supervision, designs, develops, implements and evaluates education programs based upon adult learning principles for a clinical service line. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards. Utilizes and applies organizational policies and procedures. Provides service line support and supervision for staff. Supports hospital wide education programs in addition to service line initiatives. REQUIREMENTS : Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Bachelor's in Nursing required, Master's required. National Certification required (Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development or ASTD). Previous education/teaching experience preferred. 3-5 years of RN experience in the Peri-Ops hospital setting is required. Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association BLS Certification, PALS and PALS Instructor as appropriate, NRP and NRP Instructor as appropriate, AHA BLS Instructor Certification, ACLS and ACLS Instructor as appropriate.NURSE EDUCATOR PERI-ANESTHESIA • Baltimore, MD, US
