Web Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Web Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ, Plano, TX, Newark, DE, Richmond, VA and Chicago, IL. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities : Develop new and innovative capacity management capabilities and solutions utilizing python and multiple agent and database data sources (Telegraf, Dynatrace, MongoDB, InfluxDB) for business critical, audited internal processes Gather functional requirements, proposing and developing solutions Follow internal Agile based software development lifecycle including design, development, and testing, complying with strict version and change control Own the end to end solution development by utilizing excellent communication and collaboration skills to provide technical handover and support to existing team Design, develop and support new web portals to support bespoke internal requirements for capacity management capabilities Gather functional requirements, proposing and developing solutions, owning the solution from end to end Follow internal Agile based software development lifecycle including design, development, and testing, complying with strict version and change control Utilize excellent communication and collaboration skills to provide technical handover and support to existing team Requirements : Expert knowledge of python development with proven track record of delivering complex solutions in a pressured environment Python accreditation Knowledge of integrating multiple data sources, specifically Telegraf, Dynatrace, MongoDB, InfluxDB, Oracle API development skills with SOAP / XML, JSON Agile development skills (JIRA) with strong understanding of development lifecycle Expert knowledge of web development (insert specific skills e.g. .Net) with proven track record of delivering complex solutions in a high pressure, controlled environment Desired skills : Experience with other scripting capabilities and languages (e.g., C#, SQL, NoSQL, Splunk, shell scripts) Knowledge of Linux / Windows and understanding of performance metrics / counters Awareness of IT Capacity Management Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience Pay range : $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
