Job descriptionDevelop and execute the annual HSE plan in alignment with corporate and business unit goals. Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and process audits to support adherence to the HSE Management System (HSEMS). Maintain accurate HSE records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Provide technical guidance and support on environmental, safety, and health regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.). Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions. Deliver HSE training, including new hire orientations and site-specific sessions. Prepare and present HSE performance reports to management. Promote safe behaviors through regular inspections and employee engagement. Collaborate with local agencies to ensure regulatory compliance. Support environmental permit compliance and maintain current knowledge of legislation. Perform additional work-related tasks as required. Bachelor's degree in an HSE-related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of HSE experience required. A minimum of 2 years prior leadership experience is a plus. Must be located in Mount Union, PA or surrounding area. Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EPA, DOT, and relevant industry standards (NFPA, ASME, ANSI). CPR, First Aid, and AED certified trainers are preferred. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and training skills. Experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other company software (e.g., JDE, Teams).
