Freelance Proposal Writers
DDC Public Affairs is seeking experienced freelance proposal and grant writers to support DDC’s business development and sales writing, including:
- Standard product and service proposals
- Strategic thought pieces
- Complex RFP responses
We need proposal writers who know how to construct a compelling, cohesive narrative that communicates value at every level, from how we articulate our strategic approach to how we describe the features and benefits of our individual products and services. Applicants should have:
- The ability to create proposal content that is cogent, compelling, and persuasive.
- Experience in business development writing. Experience writing proposals for public affairs, public relations, or government grant work preferred.
- Demonstrated skill in bringing diverse inputs together and synthesizing them into cohesive proposals that reflect DDC’s brand narrative and POV while speaking directly to the circumstances and needs of individual prospects.
- A collaborative spirit that welcomes an iterative process, including multiple perspectives and personalities.
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently and manage against tight timeframes.
