Unit Level Financial Performance
- Monitoring weekly, monthly, and annual financial performance
- Actuals vs budget
- Analyze and review weekly and monthly results and work closely with the operational team to agree action plans to resolve financial issues
- Direct the preparation of monthly analysis of revenue, cost of goods sold, labor and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate any costs or risks at the unit
- Monitors and improves local controls and accounting procedures where weaknesses are identified at unit level
- Weekly / monthly forecasting via flash processes
- Coordinate the flash and forecast process and work with the operations team to produce action plans to rectify any performance issues
- Monitoring accounts receivable
- CPI compliance
- Inventory analysis
- Implementation of financial trackers
- Act as financial advisor to business partners
- Provides personal support and training for unit managers with unit bookkeeping as needed
Client Finance & Management
Monitoring financial performance vs client budget on key accountsEnsuring contract complianceComprehensive knowledge of contract terms to ensure 100% complianceSupporting ops with QBR financialsProvides support to operation teams on all financial requirementsPartner with and support operations teams on financial priorities, deadlines, and client financial reviewsPrepare, conduct and support regular and adhoc internal and client meetingsNew Business / Rebids
Provide financial evaluation of new business and re-bid proformas, working closely with the sales and operations team to ensure financial goals are achievableAnnual Budgeting Process
Manage and control the annual budgeting process and assist with the presentation to divisional managementManage timelinesBudget accuracy and reviewMonthly Financial Close
Oversee the monthly close process and work closely with the field accounting team to continually improve the close processAssists with and oversees the monthly close process, providing the bridge between unit management and corporate HQProvides prompt analysis of month end results for the operational team, including unit managementFinancial Management
