The company was established in 1977 and has operations in Northport, Traverse City and Petoskey. Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support our woodshop manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to work in with different tools and machinery. This opportunity has the potential for advancement.

Duties :

  • Assist with general shop operations which include sawing, gluing, ripping, sanding, molding, etc...
  • Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Forklift operations, training can be provided

Requirements :

  • Previous woodworking experience preferred but will train the right candidates
  • Proficient in using power tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of trim carpentry and ability to use a tape measure, a plus
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
