Job descriptionLicensed PE in Texas (required). 10+ years of municipal / civil project management experience. Strong background in roadway, drainage, utilities, or water / wastewater projects. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience working with municipal clients (City of Houston, Harris County, or similar agencies) strongly preferred. Ability to mentor younger engineers and coordinate across disciplines. Lead impactful water district and municipal projects in one of Houston’s most active markets. Hybrid schedule with flexibility. Senior Project Manager – Water / Municipal
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead municipal water district projects across the Houston region. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who thrives in managing complex civil projects, building strong client relationships, and mentoring teams.
What You’ll Do
- Manage roadway, drainage, utility, and water / wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Serve as the primary client contact, overseeing communication and project delivery.
- Develop project scope, goals, budgets, and schedules.
- Supervise and mentor design teams; ensure QA / QC standards are met.
- Support pursuit efforts through proposals, presentations, and client interviews.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
