Peachford Hospital is a 246-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the well-established North Atlanta Dunwoody neighborhood. We feature individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offer inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Peachford has been providing compassionate care since 1973 and nearly 10,000 patients seek treatment from our health care team each year.
We are recruiting for an experienced and engaged leader for our Director of Assessment, Intake and Referral Services position to direct and manage our busy admissions and intake department.
What will you be responsible for in this role?
This position is responsible for directing, leading and managing the day to day operations of the Assessment and Intake Department which includes 25+ FTEs and multiple PRN staff members. You will ensure the hospital has a purposeful, efficient and easy to navigate intake process for referral sources to access, patients to be involved in and staff to be engaged in and proud of. We have the need for someone to develop, train and lead initiatives that ensure patients are directed to the appropriate level of care each and every time they are referred for or seek care. Experience in process improvement, staff leadership and communication and the ability to direct and lead during difficult and busy times is essential for success in this role as is the knowledge to be hands on when needed to meet patient care needs.
