Job Title : Carpenter Foreman

Job Description

The Carpenter Foreman will work under the direct supervision of site superintendents and will be regularly monitored by ownership. The role involves constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, metal, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand and power tools. Work includes both interior and exterior projects in commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural buildings. Employees will not operate equipment or drive vehicles, nor will they handle money. All job sites are uninhabited structures.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, metal, plywood, and wallboard.
• Use carpenter's hand and power tools proficiently.
• Work on interiors and exteriors of commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural buildings.
• Ensure all work meets building codes and standard methods.
• Plan and organize job site materials and activities.
• Inspect products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Promote safety for the protection of people and property on the job site.

Work Environment

Work for a general contractor specializing in commercial projects. This specific project involves multiple buildings, including a distribution center, mechanic / truck shop, and health clinic / pharmacy. The work is performed in uninhabited structures, ensuring a focus on construction quality and safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00 / hr.
