About The Position

Summary :   The Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures. They are responsible for preparing patients, operating specialized imaging equipment, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the catheterization laboratory.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and position patients for cardiac procedures.

Operate X-ray and imaging equipment to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Monitor patient’s vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.

Maintain sterile technique and assist with the setup of instruments and supplies.

Record and document procedural details accurately.

Ensure proper care, maintenance, and calibration of cath lab equipment.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

• 2+ years of Cath Lab Experience Required.
• BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) Certification Required.
• ARRT Certification Required.
• IL State Radiologic Technologist License Required.
