We are looking for an Senior Estimator to join our highly skilled, professionally trained team who is dedicated to helping others – and our customers – succeed in every way. This position will work out of our Rockford, IL office. POSITION SUMMARY

The Estimator will work with a team to complete the due diligence necessary to estimate the cost of work associated with a project. The Estimator will also oversee the client bid submittal process.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Communicate with owners, subcontractors and vendors
• Review and understand contract specifications and drawings
• Identify, define and quantify potential project risks
• Perform quantity take-offs and scope review for estimate preparation
• Develop pricing based on historical production data
• Evaluate and compare subcontractor / supplier quotes
• Conduct site visits and perform research prior to bid
• Assist other staff with subcontractor bid list preparation
• Develop and maintain subcontractor relationships
• Other duties as assigned
